Rejoice, O Barren!

Galatians 4:27 …“Rejoice, O barren, you who do not bear! Break forth and shout, you who are not in labor… Barrenness. What a painful and frustrating condition. Yet, in Isaiah 54, God’s Word to those who are experiencing barrenness is to rejoice—“Sing O barren”! Why? Because in the previous chapter, it tells us that the chastisement for our peace fell upon Jesus (see Isaiah 53:5). The word “peace” here in Hebrew means completeness, soundness, health, safety and provision. In other words, all these benefits are yours today because Jesus has already been punished at the cross for your peace. That …

‘Unashamed’ by Er. Sandeep Kumar (25th August, 2019)

Er. Sandeep Kumar preached on the theme ‘Unashamed’ from Acts 17:22-31. This is the famous Pauline sermon delivered at Mars Hill to the Athenian crowd. There are 3 powerful truths that we can learn from this message delivered by Paul: 1) You will never reach out until you feel the pressure in your own soul. 2) You need to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. You need to bridge the gap and work within their framework. 3) Remember; that Christianity is not a religious perspective in Paul; it is God’s self-disclosure in Jesus Christ. The early church …

Right Believing bears forth Fruit

Luke 19:8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” Zacchaeus was a tax collector. He was despised because he was a deceitful man, cheating people of their money and resorting to false accusations to get what he wanted. One day, Jesus visited him. The Bible makes no mention of Jesus rebuking him for his dishonest lifestyle the whole time they were together. Instead, Jesus showed him grace and honor by spending time with him. …

What is on your heart?

Hebrews 8:10 “…I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts…” Many of us have been taught that we cannot trust our hearts. We quote verses like “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9), not knowing that Jeremiah was referring to the man who had not received Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I have had people come to me and say, “Brother, I don’t know what I should do with my life.” “What is on your heart?” I asked one of them. “I would love to work among children.” …

Rev. Sandeep Giri preached on the theme ‘Fulfilling the Great Commission’ from James 4:17. There are many times in our Christian life we disobey the Lord. To fulfill the Great Commission is the mandate that is given to every born again believer in Christ. We can only fulfill this mission by… a) Knowing the need of the people; b) We need to be available for the Gospel; c) We need to hear and obey His voice. We cannot live a sedentary Christian life in this world; but we need to witness for the Lord Jesus. Please let us remember, we …
