Only GOD can

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Have you ever tried to break a bad habit on your own? You probably found that when you tried to stop it by sheer willpower, you saw improvement for a while, and then bounced back to square one. Worse, you found yourself bringing on the very thing that you were trying not to do. And your condition is worse than before you started your “I’m going to quit” program! The changes were temporary because it was you doing it. A …

Rev. Bijoy Kumar Das preached from Galatians 5:16-26. His theme was ‘True Change’. But, we need to answer these 3 questions first to understand if we have truly changed! 1) Where does this true change come from? It never comes from within; it comes from the Supernatural realm; it comes from our Heavenly Father. We need the power of God to change. 2) What does the true change look like? If we are truly changed, then we must have the fruit of the Spirit. If there is no fruit in your life, then you are not growing. 3) How does …

We have the mind of Christ

1 Corinthians 2:16 …we have the mind of Christ. “Oh dear, my memory is not as good as it used to be. I must be getting old.” Have you heard that before? Maybe you have even said it yourself a couple of times! But who says that as you grow older, you are supposed to forget things? When the late Reverend Kenneth E Hagin was in his eighties, he was still healthy and strong. This amazing man of God would run around the platform as he preached. And those who have heard him preach would tell you that he had …

We should be willing to obey Him; display a spirit of meekness; be open to Him and yield to Him. 2). Grab your Bible and read the Good News first

Matthew 6:33 …seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. God doesn’t want you grabbing the newspaper first thing in the morning and reading all the bad news in the world. He knows that if you do that, your heart will be full of cares, anxieties and even fears. This happened to a mother who read in the newspaper that children from China studying in our local schools were becoming top students. She wrote to the press, voicing her concerns about the stiff competition her child would face from these …

‘Setting Right Priority’ by Mr. Khristi Gershombhai, 13th May, 2018

Mr. Khristi Gershombhai preached from Matthew 22:34-40. His theme was ‘Setting Right Priority’. Of the 2 Commandments that Jesus gave in the New Testament, the preacher laid stress on the 2nd Commandment; ‘to love your neighbor as yourself’. We don’t have to find out who is our neighbor, but we need to see who needs our support, who needs our help!!! Please let us remember, we cannot love God and not love others. Our actions should demonstrate our love for others. We need to have compassion for the lost. Like Mother Teresa said, we too need to draw the line …

Your sins have been forgiven you

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses Let me ask you a question which Jesus asked the Pharisees: “Which is easier, to say [to the paralytic], ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?” (Luke 5:23) In the context of ministering to a paralytic, saying “Your sins are forgiven” is probably easier. Why? Because you don’t need an outward manifestation to prove that his sins are forgiven. But when you tell him, “Rise up and walk,” …
