Rev. P.R. Misra preached on the theme ‘Having it all is not enough’ from 2 Kings 5:1-17. We my think we are sound in everything in this world; but there are certain things in life that really hit us hard. Naaman had everything going for him; but he was a leper. Today, we need to retrospect our lives in the light of God’s Word and see if we are growing spiritually or are we a leper spiritually?
Er. Sandeep Kumar preached on the theme ‘Created for God’s Glory’ from Ezekiel 10:1-5. In this book, we see a 30 year old young man Ezekiel to whom God pours emotionally and physically what his calling was going to be like and he saw the glory depart: Why does it depart? 1) There was no internalization of the truth; 2) There was no concern for the poor and the marginalized in society; 3) The Silence of God intensified when He was gone.
Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘Do you live to please God?’ from 2 Corinthians 5:9 There are conditions to please God: a) You have to be Born Again; b) Be controlled by the Spirit; c) Move away from sinful desires; d) Be a faithful witness; e) Be obedient; f) Have faith in God; g) Be generous and kind to others.
Rev. Sudharshan Thomas preached on the theme ‘Who can stand in the gap?’ from Ezekiel 22:30 and Ephesians 3:14-21. We are living in troubled times and we need to depend on the Lord fully during these times. The Lord is looking for people whom He can trust upon to deliver His message of Salvation!
Rev. Mrutyunjoy Lohora preached on the theme ‘Are you under His protection?’ from Psalm 80:7-19. Infact, the focus was on the whole chapter. We live in times where there is uncertainty at all times. There is danger lurking at the corner for each one of us. Are we trusting on Jesus to protect us?
Mr. Paresh Das preached on the theme ‘In Christianity or in Christ?’ from Philippians 3:4-11 & Luke 6:39. We need to ask ourselves do we just follow a religion or do we love God truly? God sees the heart and we need to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Rev. Songram Keshari Singh preached on the theme ‘Let us offer our Worship’ from John 9:5-7 and 13-18. This is a continuation of the series on the miracle of the man born blind. It is one thing to know the Lord, but do we worship Him with truth? Let us retrospect our lives in the light of His Word.
Rev. Bijoy Kumar Das preached on the theme ‘The mind of Christ’ from 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. Why is He do mindful of us? He loves us and cares for us. Do we live a life that is worthy of living? Do we have the mind of Christ? Time to retrospect as we embark on an unknown journey in 2020.
Rev. Songram Keshari Singh preached on the theme ‘Are you healed spiritually?’ from John 9:1-7 & 24-25. In this passage, we see the physical healing as one of the miracles of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John. But, the bigger picture is are you healed spiritually today? Are you cleansed by His blood? Time to retrospect.
Rev. Sunil Kar preached on the theme ‘Hindrances to God’s people towards His plan and purpose’ from 3 portions in the book of Exodus. They are Exodus 8:28, 10, 11,24 and 12:31. The focus was on chapters 8-12. Many a times when we try to meditate on His Word and do His work, Satan distracts us and leads us away from Him. We need to trust God in every situation to work and fulfill His mission.
Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on theme ‘Running to win the Christian race’. There are 5 D’s we need to remember in order to win the Christian race: a) Dissatisfaction: Are you dissatisfied with your spiritual life? Keep growing everyday in the Lord. b) Devotion: You need to be completed devoted to your calling in the Lord. c) Direction: Turn in the right direction and look forward; not just reflect on your past glories/failures. d) Determination: Be determined to achieve greater heights spiritually. e) Discipline: You need to discipline your life everyday to glorify your Creator.
Mr. G.S.P. Dhas preached on the theme ‘Look back and look forward’ from Deuteronomy 8:10-18. As we look back on the year gone by, let us thank Him for His grace. We need to recognize Him as our Savior and our everything as we look forward to a new year.
Mr. Asish Swalsingh preached on the theme ‘The Shepherd and the Sheep’ from Psalm 23. In this 6 verses, we find the 3 roles of the Shepherd for the Sheep. 1) The encouraging role of the shepherd for the sheep for his name sake. (v.1-3) 2) The entertaining role of the shepherd for the sheep through his service sake. (v.4-5) 3) The establishing role of the shepherd for the sheep through his promise sake (v.6).
Mr. Chinmoy Muduli preached on the theme ‘Defining God’s glory and its dimensions’ from John 11:1-6. There are 3 dimensions we need to look at which we see in this passage. 1. God’s timing is different from our timing. 2. God’s purposes are always different from ours. 3. God’s processes are different from ours too.
