Good Good Father

Luke 15:31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. Faith is believing that we have a good God, and that He protects and provides for those who trust in Him. Faith is believing that we have a good God, and that He protects and provides for those who trust in Him. Remember the parable of the prodigal son (see Luke 15:11–32)? Jesus shared it to illustrate how good our heavenly Father is. The wayward son had squandered his father’s inheritance before he decided to go home to ask his …

Mr. Subhadutta Rout preached on the theme ‘Surrender completely to Christ’ from Titus 2:12-13. There are 7 practices we need to do everyday to live a Holy life in the Lord. We need to practice these things to glorify God in and through our lives. 1) In everything, we need to trust God and have full confidence in Him always. He never fails. 2) We need to read the Holy Scriptures regularly and follow His Word. 3) We need to pray continuously and give thanks to the Lord. 4) We need to be obedient to His Word and to His …

Confessing your Righteousness Pleases God

Romans 10:6 …the righteousness of faith speaks… Every time you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” God the Father is pleased. When you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, it reminds Him of what His Son has done for you to become righteous. Also, by making you righteous, God is showing Himself righteous—“to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus” (Romans 3:26). Each time Jesus hears you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” it …

Boast in God’s Grace only

1 Corinthians 1:31 …“He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” If someone asks you, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” you would probably tell him, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved,” wouldn’t you? Well, a rich, young ruler asked Jesus the same question, but instead of telling him to believe in Him, Jesus gave him the law (see Mark 10:17–22). Jesus saw that the young ruler lived his life taking pride in his ability to keep the law to earn salvation and the favor of God. But because of His love for …

‘Change’ by Mr. Michael Rajesh Behera (14th July, 2019)

Mr. Michael Rajesh Behera preached on the theme ‘Change’ from Colossians 3:15-17. He was reiterating on the fact: The Worldly life versus the Spiritual life. As a Christian, we need to change after being saved. If there is no change in our life, we cannot be called as followers of Christ. Worldly life is basically the life we lead; many are also successful in this life; but Spiritual life is the change we have from God’s Word. Let us do everything in word/deed in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us live a pleasing life which …

We are not to worry because God provides for us as we are precious to Him. b. We are not to be worried because it is pointless as life and certain circumstances are not in our control. c. We are not to worry because we express our lack of faith in the provision, providence and power of God. d. We are not worry as God’s people because God knows exactly what our …

Worship God as you are

Ephesians 5:27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Have you been to a worship service where you stood with your hands raised, ready to worship God, only to hear the worship leader say, “Before we worship God, let’s all search our hearts”? Then, as you search your heart, before long, you dig up something that you don’t like. The next thing you know, your hands are no longer raised and soon, you find yourself sitting down—you don’t feel …

‘Power of God’ by Rev. Songram Keshari Singh (7th July, 2019)

Rev. Songram Keshari Singh preached on the theme ‘God’s Power’ from Romans 1:16,17. There are 4 things we look into from this verses. If we understand it, it will surely go a long way in helping us to understand the book of Romans. The 1st thing is His Gospel; the 2nd thing is His Power; the 3rd thing is His Righteousness and lastly, we have His Word. This afternoon, we will see His Power. Paul says in this book of Romans that I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Today, we need to ask ourselves; have we taken …

‘How Satan destroys churches?’ by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani (7th July, 2019)

Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘How Satan destroys Churches?’ from Ephesians 2:1-2 & 4-5. There is one obvious thing about Satan’s attacks on the church…he is consistent. How does Satan want to destroy the church? a. Satan Wants To Destroy the Church Through DOUBT and DECEPTION. All I want you to see is that our whispering enemy is constantly at work seeking to cause God’s people to doubt the goodness and power and love of our God. b. Satan Wants To Destroy the Church Through DISCOURAGEMENT. It is not natural for a Spirit-filled child of God to …

Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘Having real zeal for the Lord’ from Numbers 13:25-33 during the 4th evening of Prayer Week. Do we have the real zeal for the Lord today or are we just happy being saved! Because if we forget the blessings of the Lord which He has showered on our lives; we will grow lukewarm in serving Him, in sharing the glorious Gospel of Christ. Let us serve Him with joy and passion.

Believe and Act on the New Covenant

1 Samuel 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, “…I come to you in the name of theLord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. Ever wonder why two people can hear the same thing and yet have very different responses? For one, what is said makes him afraid and discouraged. For the other, his heart is so filled with faith that he dares to come against the devil and what he is doing. In the Valley of Elah, Goliath the Philistine giant taunted the armies of Israel for 40 days. When David came on …
