Prayer for Odisha on 30th September

We had a special Prayer for our State Odisha in both the Worship Service. This prayer was led by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani. We need to pray for our State and for the people in this area that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This week, we prayed for Khordha district. Please remember our State in your prayers. This prayer series will continue in our church.


Women’s Retreat held on 21st September

A Women’s Retreat was held in the church on September 21, 2018. The speaker was Rev. Rajiv Daniel, who shared God’s Word in the morning and also in the afternoon session. Nearly 200 ladies attended this one-day retreat. Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani took the morning devotion. We thank the members of the Mahila Samiti for organizing such a wonderful program.


Purity Challenge in Today’s Multi-media Age (17th September)

The Church in collaboration with EGF/EU organized a workshop titled, ‘Purity Challenge in Today’s Multi-media Age.’ on September 17, 2018 (Monday). It was held from 3-5 pm. The Resource person was bro. Philip Cherian from Bengaluru. We had nearly 80 people who turned up for this workshop. Awareness on social media and getting rid of cyber lust were discussed.


‘Thrive’ – A Youth Retreat to be held on 13th September

A Youth Retreat was organized in the church on September 13, 2018. The theme of this year’s Retreat was ‘Thrive‘ taken from Colossians 2:7. We had nearly 230 young people who attended this Retreat. Both our Associate Pastors Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani and Rev. B.N. Satpathy along with our Deacon Mr. Sandeep Kumar shared from God’s Word to the youths. We request you to uphold our youths in prayers. We specially want to thank the church board in organizing such a wonderful program for the young people. The worship team presented some soulful numbers.


Chain Prayer held from 7 am – 1 pm (8th September)

Chain Prayer was held in the church on the 2nd Saturday. We thank those brothers and sisters who attended the chain prayer. Various issues were prayed for. Please do come in large numbers next month for a time of prayer and fellowship. It will be a blessing as we join hands in prayer as believers in Christ. The Prayer meeting ended with the last hour given to the mothers of our church.


Water Baptism held on 2nd September

We are happy to inform that four persons — two brothers and two sisters, were baptized here on 2nd September morning. They were accepted as members in the afternoon Odia Worship Service. They are: Sis. Rachel Sahu, sis. Shweta Patnaik, bro. Samuel Parida and bro. Aditya Pradhan. Please keep them in Prayers.
