Church Events in October
Prayer for Odisha (28th October)
We had a special Prayer for our State Odisha in both the Worship Services. Our Associate Pastors led the Prayer. We need to pray for our State and for the people in this area that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This week, we prayed for Nayagarh district. Please remember our State in your prayers.

We need to pray for our State and for the people in this area that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This week, we prayed for Mayurbhanj district. Please remember our State in your prayers.
Prayer for Odisha (14th October)
We had a special Prayer for our State Odisha in both the Worship Services. Our Associate Pastors led the Prayer. We need to pray for our State and for the people in this area that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This week, we prayed for Puri district. Please remember our State in your prayers.
Chain Prayer held on 13th October
Chain Prayer was held in the church on the 2nd Saturday. We thank those brothers and sisters who attended the chain prayer. Various issues were prayed for. Please do come in large numbers next month for a time of prayer and fellowship. It will be a blessing as we join hands in prayer as believers in Christ. The Prayer meeting ended with the last one hour given to the mothers of our church.
Prayer Week from 8-13 October
We are grateful to all the brothers and sisters who attended the six-day long ‘Prayer Week’ from October 8 to 13 braving the cyclonic weather. The prayer was held at 7 pm every evening and those who joined were truly blessed. This is a move to create awareness about prayer and the great need for it. As a church, we need to pray together more frequently for our spiritual growth and renewal.
Sunday School Retreat organized on 8th October
The Sunday School organized its Annual Retreat for the children on October 8, 2018. We are thankful to the parents who took care to bring their children to the retreat. we had close to 100 children in attendance. Rev. Hemanta Pani shared God’s Word to the children. It was a blessed time for all who attended.

Please remember our State in your prayers.
Baptism conducted on 7th October
We are happy to announce that 5 young men and women who had accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, were baptized in water in the church this morning by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani. They are sis. Pritinanda Behera, sis. Rushali Angel Bera, sis. Dipika Hazarika, bro. Suman Sourav Rout and bro. Sovan Gaurav Rout. Please uphold them in your prayers.
Elders’ Retreat held on 2nd October
Like every year, the Elders’ Retreat was held in the church on October 2, 2018. We are thankful to all the elderly brothers and sisters who overwhelmingly responded to our request and attended the program. We had over 250 worshipers in attendance as our Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani spoke to the congregation. We are grateful to the Pastors, Deacons and prayer coordinators for their support.
