Are you friendly with the enemy of the soul? by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani, 3rd March, 2019
Rev. Dr. Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘Are you friendly with the enemy of the soul?’ His message dealt with Joshua 9.
1) Our enemy is Deceptive (v. 1-13): Satan uses trick, deceit and cunning words to make us go astray. Satan uses clothes of deception too and deceptive words to pursuade us.
2) Our enemy is Destructive (v. 14-21): Their ability to see clearly is detroyed by Satan. Their ability to seek counsel is destroyed by Satan. The Devil also destroys their ability to stay clean.
3) Our enemy can be Defeated (v. 22-27): The enemy must be confronted; and the enemy must be controlled. Let us guard our spiritual life and confess our sins before God if we have fallen short of the Spiritual mark which He has set for us.
