Life above the Sun

John 10:10 …I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. When you are not enjoying abundant life, you will feel as if life is full of toil. In your heart, life is meaningless and empty. You feel like someone “grasping for the wind” (Ecclesiastes 2:11). It seems as if nothing you do adds up to much. The Bible calls this life “under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 2:11). Someone who lives life under the sun may or may not know God, but God is either forgotten or not the center of things in his …

Everything that comes forth from you shall be blessed

Deuteronomy 28:4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body… The Bible records that Jesus’ spit healed a blind man (see Mark 8:23–25), Peter’s shadow healed the sick (see Acts 5:15), and handkerchiefs and aprons from Paul’s body drove out evil spirits and diseases (see Acts 19:11–12). This tells us that what comes forth from our bodies can be so blessed that it brings about blessings and miracles to others. Indeed, God said, “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body…” He was not just referring to your children, or He would have simply said, “Blessed shall be your children.” …

‘Do not lose heart’ by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani (20th October, 2019)

Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘Do not lose heart’ from 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. In this wonderful passage, Paul explains how to serve the Lord with Passion! There are 3 things we see here from Paul’s exhortation: a) An Incredible Statement (16 a): Paul is saying whatever comes my way, I will not faint or lose heart in the Lord. b) A Familiar Struggle (16 b): Paul says “though our outward man perish”. The reason it is so easy for us to lose heart is that the “outer man” is “perishing”. c) A Wonderful Secret: In these verses …

‘Miracles happen when Jesus appears’ by Rev. Songram Keshari Singh (20th October, 2019)

Rev. Songram Keshari Singh preached on the theme ‘Miracles happen when Jesus appears on the scene’ from John 6:1-13. The significance of this miracle is that it talks much about Jesus. There are 4 things about Jesus Christ we see in this passage. 1. He is the unchanging God; who is able to meet our every need. 2. Jesus satisfies everyone who comes to Him in faith. 3. He can do something for everybody. There is no partiality with Christ. 4. Christ is sufficient for every age. Come to Him before time runs out.

The Lord is my Refuge

Psalm 91:1–2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Every day, we are bombarded with news of conflicts, natural disasters, diseases and new strains of drug-resistant viruses. We also hear of people losing their loved ones in freak accidents. And we ask ourselves, “Is there a place where I can take refuge from a world gone mad?” Yes, there is! God foresaw all these things and He has …

‘Questions God asks us!’ by Rev. J. Isaac Gyanagurusekharan (13th October, 2019)

Rev. J. Isaac Gyanagurusekharan preached on the theme ‘Questions God asks us’ from John 21:1-19. 1. Do you know Him? If yes, how much you know Him? Do you know Him personally? Knowing God is an infinite value. 2. Do you trust Him? You must trust Him even after denial/failing God; trust after despair. 3. Do you Love me? Love sought after repeated denial by Peter. Do you still love Him? Come to Christ today before it is too late. He is the God of second chance. 4. Do you Follow Him? Following God is a commitment, but remember following …

‘Broken to break hearts’ by Rev. J. Isaac Gyanagurusekharan (13th October, 2019)

Rev. J. Isaac Gyanagurusekharan preached on the theme ‘Broken to break hearts’ from Luke 22:54-62 & Acts 2:37-38. There are 4 things that we see here: 1. Broken but Repented. Peter’s life before and after denial of Jesus. 2. Backslidden but Reassured by Christ. Only true love and compassion can begin to heal the brokenhearted. 3. Built and filled (Acts 1:8, 2:4). You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Being filled with the Holy Spirit means you will be witnesses for the Lord. 4. Bold and Witnessed. Peter raised his voice and proclaimed. To defend and …

Don’t give up at Thirtyfold

Mark 4:8 “But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” Perhaps you have marveled at God’s instantaneous healing miracles. Perhaps you believed that He would do the same for you. But now, when you see your own healing taking so long to manifest, you are tempted to give up. My friend, when the manifestation does not come instantaneously, we are not to be discouraged because Jesus let us in on a secret when He shared the parable of the sower (see Mark 4:3–20). …

‘3 mistakes Elimelech & Naomi did’ by Mr. Swarup Singh (6th October, 2019)

Mr. Swarup Singh preached on the theme ‘3 mistakes Elimelech and Naomi did’ from Ruth 1:1-5. Their 3 mistakes were: Unbelief: Not trusting on the Providence of God. Elimelech walked by sight, not by faith. He measured on the physical, not on the Spiritual. Deception: trying to cover up your mistakes. Naomi was trying to cover up. Many times we try to rationalize and deceive ourselves. Bitterness: blaming God for your trials. It clouds our vision so we are not able to see what God is doing behind the scenes. Let us never forget, God is at work. We need …

Take a listen. Be blessed.
