‘Why God allows us through wilderness!’ by Rev. B.N. Satpathy (19th November, 2017)
Rev. B.N. Satpathy spoke from Deuteronomy 8:2-5 and 16.
His theme was ‘3-fold reasons why God allows us through wilderness!’
1). To show us humility. It is a way to receive His favor. God gives Grace to the humble.
2). To test us. To test our character. Your integrity, obedience and your faith will be tested. Ex: Judas and Joseph. Remember, Test refines our faith (Isaiah 48:10).
3). It Disciplines us. God disciplines and molds or life with Love. It is not to put you down, but to help you to grow spiritually. The Bible says in Job 23:10 – ‘when God tests us, we shall come forth as gold.’
