‘What the Cross of Christ means to the world?’ by Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani (24th March, 2019)

Rev. Dr. Ayub Chhinchani preached on the theme ‘What the Cross of Christ means to the world?’ The Scripture portion was taken from 1 Corinthians 1:18-25. There are 3 important things the Cross of Christ truly means to the world:

1) The world is offended by the Cross.

2) The world is judged by the Cross.

3) The world is saved by the Cross.

That’s why Paul says so aptly to take pride only in the Cross of Christ. When we meditate on the Cross with true reverence, we will understand the mystery of the Cross. Let us look to the Cross as we prepare to enter the Passion Week.
