‘Glorify God in your body’ by Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar Das (30th June, 2019)
Mr. Sanjeeb Kumar Das preached on the theme ‘Glorify God in your body’ from two portions. The 1st portion was from 2 Corinthians 4:11-12 and the 2nd was from 1 Peter 4:7-11.
Paul gives us a vivid illustration on how we should use our body for His glory alone. Let us remember that we have been purchased by His precious blood.
3 things we see here in this passage:
a). We need to be transparent. We should not hide anything.
b). We should be humble as it will set an example for others to follow.
c). We need to be slaves of Jesus Christ. When we live in such a way, our God is glorified. When we die to self and become powerless, then God works in us. Do we allow Him to take control of our lives?
