Leadership Seminar by YWAM

Youth with a Mission (YWAM) conducted a two-day Leadership Seminar in our Church on February 15 and 16, 2016. It commenced around 9:30 am and ended in the afternoon on both the days. The registration fee was Rs. 100/- only per participant. Rev. (Dr.) K.R.Stephen from Trivandrum, Kerala was the Resource person. Rev. (Dr.) Stephen also spoke in separate meetings held at 7 pm on Monday and Tuesday in Church. Due to this evening Meetings, the regular Monday Prayer and C.E. Union Meeting on tuesday were cancelled. It was a Blessed time for all those present in the evening Meetings. In the Leadership Seminar, few members from our Church were there and along with it, many came from other Churches too. Around 70 turned up on both the days. The topics discussed were:

a). Christian Leadership and it’s significance.

b). Who can be a Church leader?

c). What is Biblical Leadership and it’s uniqueness?

d). Impact of a True Leader in Christ. 

There were lots of other issues discussed on these two days. Lots of queries were answered by the panel of experts. Along with Dr. Stephen from Kerala, few other persons from YWAM were present to conduct this meeting. There were a few exciting testimonies and some choreographies too. Not many could be present as it was not a holiday for many. May the Lord continue to Bless those who were present and help them to understand the true meaning of Christian Leadership as per the Bible. We thank the Youth with a Mission ministry who conducted this meeting in our Church. We also Pray for the ministry of YWAM as it works among the youth, who are the future of the Church.
